Who looks after your details
Ruth Egan, trading as Body Trap Fitness, based in Spain, is responsible for the details you choose to leave. Email info@bodytrapfitness.com with questions or privacy requests.
What the forms collect
To download The Kitchen Trap ebook, enter either an email address or a WhatsApp number. To download The Shopping List guide, enter your name and email address. We store the details you submit, the guide requested, your chosen channel, the request date, and whether you selected marketing, including the consent wording and its version. We do not ask for health information.
The forms check the format of your contact detail; they do not verify that you own the address or number. Please enter your own details. These forms do not send an email or WhatsApp message. Your PDF downloads in your browser. The shopping guide uses a temporary download link that expires after 30 minutes.
How we use your details and your choices
We use the details you provide to record and fulfil your request for the selected guide. Requesting a guide is your choice. The shopping guide requires your name and email; the Kitchen Trap ebook requires one contact detail. You do not need to agree to marketing to download either resource.
Fitness tips and offers require your separate, optional consent through an unchecked box. The shopping guide offers email marketing only; the Kitchen Trap form offers your selected channel. Submitting a request alone is not permission for marketing. You can withdraw marketing permission at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before it.
Storage and retention
Records are stored in the website’s database and accessed through restricted management tools. Our website hosting providers process the data to operate and secure the service. We do not publish or sell your details, or connect these forms to a mailing or WhatsApp service.
Ruth manages retention manually. Ordinary guide requests are reviewed for deletion after 30 days, and records with marketing permission after 365 days. The management tool can remove records beyond these periods, but deletion is not automatic. Records are also removed when they are no longer needed for your request or chosen preferences. You can ask us to delete your details or stop marketing at any time.
Routine hosting security information may be processed by the hosting providers. The guide-request records do not contain your IP address or browsing history. The forms use short-lived anti-abuse checks to help prevent automated submissions.
Your rights and contact
You can ask to access, correct or delete your details, withdraw consent, or request restriction or a copy of relevant data. Email info@bodytrapfitness.com, identifying the contact detail you submitted. We may need to check that a request comes from its owner. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, AEPD.
